In late February 2026, a team member from our valued Taiwanese partner, Brook, visited Japan.
During this trip, he kindly made the journey to Nagano Prefecture, where our company is based.

As a gesture of appreciation for their continued support—and to return the warm hospitality we received during our recent visit to Taiwan—we had the pleasure of spending two days together.

Day 1: Snow Activities and Onsen Experience

Since Taiwan has a warm climate, winter sports are a rare experience.
At his request, we visited Togakushi Ski Resort, where he tried snowboarding for the first time.

After enjoying the snow activities, we introduced him to one of Japan’s most iconic cultural experiences: onsen and sauna.
It was also his first time visiting an onsen, and he shared that it was both physically refreshing and mentally relaxing.

In the evening, at his request, we enjoyed karaoke—an activity that is also popular in Taiwan—and deepened our friendship.
We sang both Japanese and Taiwanese songs, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere.

Day 2: Samurai Experience and Matsumoto Castle

On the second day, we explored Matsumoto City and introduced more aspects of Japanese culture.
We began with a visit to a soba restaurant located within the Yohashira Shrine grounds, where he experienced Shinshu soba, a local specialty of Nagano, for the first time.

Later, under the guidance of a practitioner of Iaido (Japanese swordsmanship), he participated in a samurai experience and commemorative photo session.
In the afternoon, we visited the National Treasure Matsumoto Castle, where we toured the interior while listening to explanations from a professional guide, gaining deeper insight into Japan’s history and architecture.

Reflections

Over the course of the two days, we shared conversations not only about the cultural similarities and differences between Japan and Taiwan, but also about Brook’s team updates and developments within the gaming industry.

We also discussed ideas for new products and potential future collaborations, making the visit meaningful from a business perspective as well.

This was our first time hosting an overseas partner in Japan, and it reaffirmed the importance of strengthening mutual understanding and trust beyond regular business interactions.

We look forward to meeting again in Taiwan in the near future.
