The Wingman FGC VX has two touchpad modes:
【Mode 1】The touchpad works with a single press.
【Mode 2】The touchpad works only when two designated buttons are pressed simultaneously.

If the touchpad does not respond, please try switching the mode using the steps below.

How to check and switch modes
If your controller’s touchpad does not respond with a single press, it may be set to Mode 2.
Press Touchpad button + Right Stick (press in) and check whether the map opens.
Press Touchpad button + Left Stick (press in) and check whether it switches back to Mode 1.
If you want to use the touchpad with a single press, please continue using Mode 1.

If the issue persists after trying the steps above, please contact us with the controller model name you are using and the firmware version of this product.
For more details about Mode 1 and Mode 2, please refer to the User Manual.

When using the BLITZ 2, please pay close attention to the connection procedure.
Be sure to connect the controller in X-input mode (green indicator light).
Please note that the controller will not function in DSE mode (blue indicator light) or Switch mode (red indicator light).

If you are using a PS4 or PS5, please check the console settings and make sure the communication method is set correctly:
Go to Settings → Accessories → Controllers (General), and confirm that “Communication Method” is set to “Use USB Cable.”

If the connection is still unstable, the vibration feature may be the cause. Please also try the following:
・After updating to the latest firmware, reconnect the controller and try again.
・Use a firmware version with the vibration feature disabled (v1.1.0.3 Beta or later).

At this time, earphones or headphones cannot be connected directly to the controller when using the FGC VX.

However, BROOK is currently developing a technology that will allow wired audio output when the controller is connected via a wired connection.
This wired audio feature is planned to be added in a future firmware update once development is complete.

Please note that due to hardware limitations, audio output from the controller is not possible when using a wireless connection.

In the meantime, you can use one of the following methods to output audio through earphones or headphones:
・Connect earphones or headphones to the headphone jack on your monitor or TV
・Use an HDMI audio extractor
・Connect a USB headset directly to the game console or PC

When using a USB headset, please connect it directly to the console or PC, not through the FGC VX.

According to BROOK’s technical support, this is technically difficult to implement.
BROOK converters require power in order to operate.
However, when the PS5 is powered off or in rest mode, its USB ports do not supply power.
Because of this hardware specification of the PS5, the FGC VX cannot function while the console is turned off, and therefore cannot be used to power on the PS5 via a connected controller.

Models listed are generally tested and confirmed to be compatible.
Note: Some controllers may require a firmware update to a specific version or a mode-switching operation. Please refer to the notes for each model.
